coolie: An unskilled laborer or porter usually in or from the East hired for low or subsistence wages.
This appropriate description of Woodshed staff started somewhere in the 70's and has since faded into obscurity since most of Uncle Pete's nieces and nephews have grown up and now have "real"jobs. We can safely say that some of the carrying on that took place back in those early days is legendary and has set the tone for the current crop of bartenders, waitresses and doormen who are fortunate enough to be spending a summer working at the Shed.
On this page, we will feature photographs from the past 40 years of Woodshed history. Please feel free to send along any photos you have as jpegs and attach them to your e-mail using our address which can be found on the Contact page.
